San Diego two-way standout has two offers

It is becoming very apparent that San Diego County is going to be a hotbed for football talent for the class of 2010. One player you better jot down is two-way standout Ricky Seale (5-10, 180, 4.4) from Escondido, Calif. Seale, who has NFL bloodlines, already has two very impressive Pac 10 offers and could have two more Pac 10 offers in the very near future.
"USC and Stanford have already offered, Ricky," Escondido coach Paul Gomes said. "UCLA is coming to the table soon and Cal is stepping up their efforts."

"The whole Pac 10 is recruiting him," Gomes said. "Wisconsin thinks he fits their system so there could be something there soon."
"USC offered Ricky as a cornerback, while Stanford offered him as both."
Seale was San Diego County's second leading rusher, trailing only Stanford bound, Tyler Gaffney, with 2,679 yards. He also had 31 touchdowns. His junior season performance saw him earn first-team all-CIF, first-team all-area and first-team all-league honors.
"The thing about Ricky is, he's really humble," Gomes said. "I have been around a lot of high level kids and he really tries to learn."
"Ricky is really coachable," Gomes said. "His dad, Sammy Seale, played in the NFL and has done a really good job preparing him how to do things right."
"Ricky already has good habits," Gomes said. "He always runs 40 yards after every rushing rep he takes."
The scouting report on Seale is he's a very smooth runner, who has great vision and acceleration. He is one of those guys who looks like he is barely running, but at the same time he is blowing by defenders. To top it off, he's an outstanding blocker, as well.
Gomes is very fond of the way Seale plays defense, too.
"I think Ricky is the best defensive back in San Diego," Gomes said. "He's the best cover corner I have ever had."
After Gomes had a second to think about it, he had the following thing to say about Seale's running ability.
"I can honestly say that Ricky is the best running back I have ever coached," Gomes said. "He's pretty special."
Seale is a three-sport letterman as he also participates in basketball and track.
