San Diego TE becoming priority recruit
A tight end prospect that is starting to make a lot of noise on the recruiting front is San Diego (Calif.) Scripps Ranch athlete J.T. Kerr. Kerr currently has three offers on the table and is poised for a big senior season after transferring in from Fallbrook.
Kerr, 6-4, 230 pounds played in a run dominated offense last season but still caught 12 balls for 146 yards and a touchdown. He's known as a great blocker but showed soft hands and the ability to get down the field at the NorCal NIKE Camp.

Kerr transferred out of Fallbrook about two months ago and should put up big numbers as a senior playing with one of the nation's top quarterbacks in Tate Forcier.
"I'm excited to be at Scripps Ranch," Kerr said. "At Fallbrook, our coach stepped down, the quarterback transferred out and I never felt like I fit in with the style of offense there. I've had a good Spring here and Nebraska and San Diego State have both offered just based on seeing me at Spring practice.
"In addition to the three schools that have offered, I'm also hearing from Oregon, UCLA, Wake Forest, Arizona State and Maryland. I plan on camping with UCLA and USC. I also want to take unofficial visits to Nebraska, San Diego State and probably ASU as well.
"Right now, my plan is to take all my official visits in the fall but I haven't decided when I want to commit yet. I'm just going to wait and see when it feels right and that's when I'll go ahead and make my decision."
