San Diego LB has new leader

San Diego Mission Bay linebacker Scott White is back from his second official visit, and it looks like he has a new leader in the race for his commitment.
“Man, that was a great trip,” White, a 6-foot-3, 230-pound four-star selection said. “I thought it was going to be tough to top what I saw at Oklahoma, but man this definitely topped it. I would give it a 10. A perfect 10.”

So what impressed White about his trip to Seattle?
“What didn’t,” he said.
“The noise at the stadium was unreal. Those people were so loud, but they were also nice. I couldn’t hear myself think for most of the game. I also got to hang out with Reggie Williams and Jerramy Stevens. There was a party over there, and it was a lot of fun because I got to be with the guys.”
White said at this point the visit was enough to push Washington into the top spot for his commitment over Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU and Colorado.
He hopes to still visit LSU before he makes a decision and Ohio State and Colorado also have asked him to save them a trip. But no matter what happens, the trips will have to stack up to his visit to Washington.
“Oklahoma was a good visit because they have a great program,” he said.
“But there wasn’t a whole lot to do after the game. I just hung out with coach Long and a few other players. But at Washington we were always doing something or going somewhere else to do something fun.”
