San Diego DL up to three offers

It was considered a down year in San Diego last year as far as recruiting goes but things are looking up for the class of 2005. Several players in the area already boast multiple scholarship offers including San Diego (Calif.) Serra defensive lineman Fevaea'i Ah Mu.
Ah Mu, 6-1, 295 pounds attended the recent Nike combine at USC and will also attend the Nike camp at San Diego State in April. The big tackle prospect had a big junior season totaling 100 tackles, 10 quarterback sacks and picked off one pass and returned it for a touchdown. For his efforts, the lineman earned first team all-league, first team all-county and first team all-state Underclass honors.

On the recruiting front, Ah Mu claims offers from Arizona, Colorado and Wisconsin and is also hearing from USC, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Notre Dame, UCLA, LSU, Wisconsin and Colorado State.
"USC is my top school right now," Ah Mu said. "Growing up, I always followed USC and Michigan and right now, USC has a great thing going and I like their coaching staff a lot. I also like Oklahoma, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Arizona, that would be my top five. I'm looking for a program that is strong academically, has a coaching staff that I'm comfortable with and a team that has a chance to win."
Academically, Ah Mu is carrying a 3.3 GPA and has already scored a 980 on the SAT.
