San Diego DE sees increase in attention
San Diego Mission Bay defensive end Marcus Smith was one of the first official visitors the Oklahoma brought onto it’s campus, but now it’s sounds like his attention is picking up elsewhere, too.
"Coach Long from Oklahoma calls me every week still. He said they're still waiting to see what happens with a few other players,” Smith said. “He calls to wish me luck for my games. I'm still interested in them, but I would be more if they offered."

Offered like Arizona just did and offered like New Mexico, Kansas State, Fresno State and Washington might?
"Arizona (Jan. 11) did officially offer me about a week ago," Smith said.
"Then Fresno (Dec. 7) is on the verge of it. Kansas State and Washington called me for the first time last week. I'm definitely interested in what they have to offer, too."
At this point, Smith is very up in the air.
"I'm going to be open to about anything," he said. “I’m thinking more and more about Arizona, though. They say they really like me and want me, so that must mean they believe in me.”
