San Diego athlete showing versatility

Tight end/defensive end Chris Pousson (6-4, 240, 4.9) from San Diego (Calif.) Saint Augustine is showing a lot of versatility his senior season.
Along with playing tight end and defense end for Saint Aug, he has also lined up at quarterback for a game.

On the season, Pousson has accounted for 24 tackles and 3.5 sacks from his defensive end spot. As a tight end he has four catches for 51 yards and two touchdowns.
Saint Aug currently is sitting at 3-2, but starting out with a less than stellar record is nothing new for them and Pousson has the reason why they always finish strong.
"We always start the season with a tough schedule," Pousson said. "We're starting to come together as a team at the right time as we are getting ready for league so I like where we are at as a team in that respect.
On the recruiting front Pousson has heard from Stanford, Washington State, Air Force, Villanova and Penn since September 1st.
"I will probably take an official visit to Washington State, but I don't have a date yet," Pousson said. "I will be taking an unofficial visit to Stanford on November 3rd when they play Washington.
Pousson earned first-team all-league honors after accounting for 61 tackles, nine quarterback hurries, seven sacks, four blocked passes, and two fumbles caused.
Though Pousson is mainly being recruited as a defensive end, he is also an outstanding long snapper and since he is adding tight end to his resume this fall some schools are waiting to see how he performs as an offensive player.
In the weight room, Pousson currently benches 275, squats 390, cleans 260 and recently recorded a 31.5 vertical at the USC Big Man camp last June.
A good all-around athlete, Pousson also plays baseball. He plays first and third base.
