San Antonio QB committed, for now

After leading his San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights quarterback Giovanni Vizza led his team to a state title, it was time to get down to business in recruiting. He's done that with a commitment – for now.
The 6-foot-, 190-pounder recently picked up scholarship offers from Army, Air Force, Nevada, North Texas, and several Division I-AA schools. One school has received his commitment, but he may not be done just yet.

"I'm committed to Nevada, but still looking," Vizza said. "I actually made that commitment on Saturday. I committed to them because they have a great offense and not a lot of quarterbacks coming back. The offense fits me and I have a shot of maybe making an impact right away."
Vizza says he's still looking at schools such as Rice, Oklahoma State, Missouri, and North Texas. He also has some visits planned.
"I've got one this weekend to see North Texas and then the next weekend, I'm going to Nevada," Vizza said. "I'm kind of holding out to see if big schools come in late on me."
Vizza finished the season with 3,278 yards and 37 touchdowns.
