San Antonio LB on the radar

San Antonio Madison linebacker prospect Jason McLean is on the board with his first scholarship offer.
McLean, the 6-foot, 200-pound defender, has also been busy with camps. After attending the NIKE Training Camp in Fort Worth, Texas, McLean also made his way to a camp at Oklahoma State.

"This will be my third year starting - I just played safety," McLean said about his high school career. "I have one offer from New Mexico State. It came about two or three weeks ago. A bunch of colleges have also been talking to me like OSU, New Mexico, Baylor, Kansas and Army."
Early on, McLean says that his favorites are Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma State, and New Mexico State. Though he's not ready to make a decision yet, he does have some factors he'll look at when making a commitment.
"Yes, the location - I'd like to stay close," McLean said. "Of course, whether the football team is good or not. And also the education, of course."
As a junior, McLean tallied 110 total tackles, two forced fumbles and one interception as a safety.
