Same leader for Kirkland

Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington four-star offensive tackle Denver Kirkland reports new offers from Illinois, Kentucky, and Ole Miss. That trio pushes him into double-digit offers as he already claimed offers from Auburn, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Rutgers, South Florida, UCLA, and West Virginia.
Despite national attention, it is a local school that continues to capture the attention of the 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive lineman.

"Miami is still my early favorite," Kirkland said. "I grew up watching the Hurricanes. They have a great program and a great graduation rate."
Miami remains in regular contact with the Rivals250 member. He visited the nearby campus back in January for a junior day event.
"I talk to them a lot," Kirkland said. "I speak with Coach (Micheal) Barrow and Coach (Art) Kehoe. They have been basically telling me about how the program goes. They also tell me about how if I come there and get to work that I have a chance to play early."
Since his visit to Miami, Kirkland hasn't hit the road to check out any other schools. He doesn't know where he will visit next.
"I haven't taken any visits and I don't know of any coming up right now," Kirkland said. "I really don't know where I want to get to yet."
Kirkland isn't working with a specific timeline to make a decision but said the process will likely continue into his senior year of high school.
