Sales takes it slow

Fort Washington (Md.) Friendly offensive guard Quinton Sales is taking it easy on the recruiting front. The 6-foot-2, 278-pounder holds four offers and is mostly focused on the season and upcoming playoffs.
"Recruiting right now, I'm not really hearing a lot," he said. "I've got the same offers, Wake Forest, Akron, Buffalo and Kent. They are all still talking to me.

"I did just make my senior highlight tape which I plan to send out soon and that's about it. I do plan to take visits, but nothing is definite. I should start figuring that out in a few weeks. I'm kind of looking at unofficials."
The three-star prospect confirmed his plans to take most of his visits in December and January.
Meanwhile, Sales is keeping busy with the season.
"We're undefeated and I'm happy to be blocking for Lamaar Thomas," he said. "Our team is 7-0 and we have three games left. We're stacked at every position. We're winning and gelling together. Everyone is pushing each other, Josh Haden, Lamaar, Carlos and others."
"I've been doing pretty well actually too. I'm getting the job done and we should have two 1,000 yard backs in Josh and Lamaar and another 500 or 600-yard back."
