Saleh hoping for interest

Mohammed Saleh is hoping that more schools start showing interest but for now he's excited that one program is taking a hard look at him.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound defensive back from Orchard Park (N.Y.) Erie C.C. plans on graduating in December and taking his game to the Division I level in January, but first he has to pick up an offer.

"I just got off the phone with Utah State's cornerbacks coach," Saleh said. "I'm gonna meet up with him when he gets back to Orlando. We're gonna talk about recruiting, have lunch and go over some stuff. He'll be down in Florida recruiting for two weeks.
"It's mostly just Utah State for the most part right now. The University of Memphis has shown me a lot of love, too. They're very interested in me. They haven't really talked about scholarships yet. That's still in the works. I'm still in the developing process with that school (Memphis)."
Saleh said this summer he plans on working out and enjoying some time with his family. His focus will be on developing more physically as opposed to visiting more Division I schools.
He has been clocked at 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash and had previously drawn interest from schools in the MAC and Big East, among other conferences.
