Sai one of Islands best

Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis offensive lineman Kapua Sai will be one of the most heavily recruited players on the Islands next fall. The big lineman has one offer to his name and schools from all over the country watching him closely.
Sai, 6-5, 320 pounds was one of the top underclass lineman we saw during the NIKE Camp tour last spring. The big man had a great showing at the NIKE Camp at Stanford and was a 1st team all-underclass NIKE Camp All-American.

Sai is very physical and has a great motor to him. He moves well for a player his size and already has a college frame. He has long arms, quick feet and plays with a nice edge to him.
On the recruiting front, Utah has offered Sai and the lineman is set for a very busy spring and summer.
"Along with Utah, I'm also hearing from Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Nebraska, USC, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington.
"I'm going to the NIKE Camp at Stanford again and will also attend team camps at USC, Florida and either Oregon or Oregon State. Right now, Florida and USC are my top two schools followed by Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, Georgia and Georgia Tech.
"I want to take my trips and don't plan on making an early decision. Academics, athletics and location are the main things I'm looking for in a school. I want to major in Political Science and that will play a role."
Academically, Sai is carrying a 3.2 GPA and took the SAT March 1.
