Safety sleeper packs a wallop

Defensive back/wide receiver Tamaris Surdock (6-1, 185, 4.5) from San Diego (Calif.) Patrick Henry may be flying under the radar, but once colleges get a load of his hitting ability, he won't be a sleeper for long.
Surdock earned second-team all-league after racking up 70 tackles, according to sources he had eight forced fumbles and one interception.

In the weight room, Surdock' current bench is 250, he squats 400 and has recorded a 39-inch vertical jump.
Surdock is known as a lethal hitter who makes receivers have a case of alligator arms on a regular basis. He packs a wallop.
Rolando Garcia has spent the last few years coaching at San Diego (Calif.) Saint Augustine, but in his spare time he helps worthy players, who have D-I potential in the San Diego area get their names in front of colleges via sandiegoballers.com had the following to say about Surdock.
"Tamaris can hit," Garcia said. "The ball is flying all over the place when he comes up to deliver a hit."
"When you watch Tamaris on film, he keeps jumping out at you because of the way he hits," Garcia said. "Though he is known as a hitter and outstanding in run support, he is pretty good in space and pass defense."
On the recruiting trail Arizona, New Mexico State and San Diego State are said to be showing interest.
