Sabino talks about big week

CORAL GABLES, Fla.- Last week was a good one for Miami (Fla.) Krop linebacker Etienne Sabino. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder received scholarship offers from several of the country's major programs and then was outstanding at the NIKE Camp Sunday at the University of Miami.
During an exclusive interview with Rivals.com, Sabino talked about his amazing week, his rise to desired prospect status and the recruiting process in general.

"It has to be the best week of my life probably," Sabino said. "I have more than 14 offers now and I am just loving every minute of it."
Southern California, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Miami, Georgia Tech, Louisville and UCF all offered Sabino last week.
Ohio State and Maryland followed with offers on Monday. The Buckeyes were an intriguing offer.
"That just makes my decision that much more difficult," Sabino said.
All of this attention has motivated Sabino to continue his progress.
"All those offers did is show me that I need to work harder," Sabino said. "The schools are loving me, so that means I need to work harder all the way around. I need to work harder in the weight room and in the classroom.
His hard work in the classroom has already paid off. Sabino recently scored 1180 on his S.A.T.
Sabino is open to all of the schools that have offered him so far, but says that two are pushing the hardest at the moment.
"Right now, everybody is even," he said. "But I visited UM last week really liked the practice. I really like (linebackers coach) Michael Barrow. Also, (defensive coordinator) Corwin Brown from Notre Dame has been texting me and calling me. I really like his style and the way he does things.
"They have been pushing the hardest."
Sabino also plans to head to Los Angeles to check out USC.
"USC is an NFL factory," he said. "I am definitely looking forward to going up there for a visit. I am not sure if it's going to be official or unofficial, but I am definitely going up there because it's USC."
