Rypien ready for Pac-12 trip

Brett Rypien already has four offers and the 2015 quarterback from Spokane (Wash.) Shadle Park has a big visit coming up that could pay off for him as well.
"In a couple weeks I'm heading down to Stanford for their camp and junior day," Rypien said. "As far as visits that's the only one planned for the rest of the summer at least."

Boise State, Colorado State, Idaho and Washington State have already offered Rypien, who looked good at the RCS Phoenix this spring, and he's hoping to perform well at Stanford to get them further involved in his recruitment.
Rypien, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound recruit, said he knows Stanford is looking at some other 2015 quarterbacks but he hopes to shine at its camp - and maybe earn another offer.
"It's definitely going to be big because this is the first time they're going to see me live," Rypien said.
"They said they're looking at two other guys. I'm guessing one of them is Josh Rosen, that's what I've been hearing. They said I'm in their top three and they want to get me down there to see me throw live so it's going to be big.
"After that I'm pretty much going to focus getting ready for our season and focusing on our team. As far as putting recruiting aside, I'm sure it will pick up as the season goes along and I'll just have to deal with it."
Other than the four offers and the interest from Stanford, Rypien said he's also hearing from Washington and Oregon State.
In his sophomore season, Rypien completed 63 percent of his passes for 3,579 yards with 29 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
