Ryan Brown enjoys latest trip

Moncks Corner (S.C.) Berkeley linebacker Ryan Brown has long been considered a South Carolina Gamecock lean. So how did he official visit go this past weekend?
“It was a good visit, I had a great time,” said the 6-foot-2, 235-pounder. “I was hosted by my old teammate, Jabari Levey, and he loves it there. He showed me a great time and I knew a bunch of the other players from my other visits there. Jabari is a big man on campus and not just because he’s huge. He has a lot of pull there already so it was cool.”

Brown has already been to Clemson as well as South Carolina and he still has a couple of visits left.
“I go to Ohio State next weekend and then Florida on Jan. 31,” he said. “I still want to take both of them, but USC has a big lead. They’re going to be hard to beat because they’re close to home, I feel good there and they have been recruiting me the hardest. I was concerned a bit about things when coach Strong (old defensive coordinator now at Florida) left, but I’m cool with it all again. Coach Cosh (new defensive coordinator) is a great guy.”
Brown is ranked as the No. 8 player in the state of South Carolina and the No. 26 inside linebacker in the country.
