Rutledge still waiting on first offer
Sugar Land (Texas) Kempner’s Michael Rutledge continues to favor two schools. But the two-star rated running back has yet to have a scholarship offer come his way.
“Everything is the same,” the 5-foot-10, 180-pound Rutledge said. “It is the same old schools. But, nobody has offered me a scholarship, yet.”

Rutledge is talking the most with Wisconsin and TCU.
“I am talking to a lot of different schools from time to time,” he said. “But, mostly it is Wisconsin and TCU. I am talking to them about possibly visiting them, but I don’t have anything set up.
“I am open to anyone right now. I would say TCU is my favorite school right now.”
Rutledge completed his senior season in the second round of the state playoffs after having rushed for 1,438 yards and 11 touchdowns.
