After the successful weekend that the Florida Gators had this weekend, it’s no surprise that Florida has made a move on another solid prospect. This time it’s with Miami Krop offensive tackle Chris Rutledge.
“I got a great feel for the place and I liked everything that I saw,” Rutledge said. “The people and fans are great there. I got to run out of the tunnel in the Swamp with a jersey on. That was a huge thrill. I could only imagine what it’s like when you get all those people in there yelling.”
Rutledge, however, did say that he’s not quite ready to make any kind of decision.
“I have a Miami visit set up for next weekend and then I’m talking to Rutgers about the weekend after that,” he said. “I don’t know if I would call Florida my favorite, but they sure gave me a whole lot to think about this weekend.”
He’s also already visited Pittsburgh back in December.
