Rutherford keeping options open

Indianapolis (Ind.) Tri-West wide receiver Chris Rutherford is having a very good season as is his team. Rutherford hopes it pays off in a scholarship offer.
When asked what colleges he is interested in, Rutherford said, "Indiana, Purdue, Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio, and Western Michigan, those are the main ones right now. Most of them have called. I've been to games at most of them."

But if someone else offers a scholarship, Rutherford will definitely listen.
"I'm keeping my options open," Rutherford said. "I talked to Ball State last week. Coach Faulkner called. We talked about how my season is going. He said he's going to keep looking at me.
"I would like to visit any of those schools."
The 6-foot-3 and 185-pound Rutherford has over 30 receptions for 800 plus yards as Tri-West has won nine of ten games including their first playoff game. Rutherford has 18 touchdowns.
