Rutgers reels in Florida commitment
Rutgers received a very big commitment today from a player out of their second home -- the Sunshine State. Who is it?
According to sources, 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman Akeem Robinson from Miami (Fla.) Carol City told the Rutgers coaching staff that he will be a Scarlet Knight for the 2004 season.

The All-Dade county selection was receiving heavy interest from Clemson, South Florida, Florida and many others. An excellent athlete, he also plays basketball for Carol City.
Rutgers has been a favorite of his since he had camped there this past summer. We will have more on Robinson’s commitment shortly.
