Rutgers, PSU offer DB
Defensive back Leo Ferrine is beginning to see his stock rise as recruiters come through his school. The 6-foot-0, 180-pounder from East Orange (N.J.) Essex Catholic has offers from Rutgers, Penn State and Hofstra and is hoping for others to come his way.
“I’m hoping to hear from Tennessee, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, and Florida. They are my favorites along with Rutgers and Penn State.”

The hard-hitting speedy safety ranks among New Jersey's finest players heading into the 2003 season and should begin to see more interest as the May evaluation period really heats up.
“I am expecting some more offers coming soon. I have had a bunch of recruiters come into my school and tell me that they plan on offering.”
With 4.4-second 40-yard dash speed and a 36-inch vertical jump, expect more offers to continue coming his way in the near future.
