Rutgers leads for Harmon

Ask Kelvin Harmon to name the leader in his recruitment and he first says that all four of hi scholarship offers hold equal weight. Even if people within an earshot aren't totally buying it, the three-star wide receiver insists that Syracuse is the same Old Dominion is the same as Rutgers is the same Temple.
Seconds later, though, he recants. Asked to describe what he likes about the Rutgers program, Harmon names a frontrunner. Recruiting news is oftentimes based on whims, which has a tendency to evolve in a matter of moments.

"I'm feeling them," Harmon said of Rutgers. "If I had to pick a leader, I'd say they're my leader."
Of course Harmon's favorite program is subject to change at anytime. There are other, major schools involved in his recruitment, and the right scholarship offers could shake things up in a hurry. Harmon readily admits that much. Still, it seems some schools are closer to making things official than others.
"South Carolina, Boston College and (Pittsburgh) seem like they're all thinking about it pretty hard," Harmon said. "They all are close with offers I think."
Harmon says he will examine every offer he receives. South Carolina and Pitt are particularly interesting to him, though. Whatever the case, there are certain bullet points of which he's in search. That won't change.
Those are set in stone.
"I'm looking for a good program that has a family thing going on," Harmon said. "That's what I'm looking for most. I want a school that can get me to the league, too."
Harmon, who attends Palmyra (N.J.) High School, says he intends to wait until his senior season to make a verbal commitment.
