Rutgers lands Sunshine State LB

Last season Rutgers brought in one of the top linebacking classes in the country. This year they’re at it again as the newest commit is a top 'backer form the Sunshine state.
Quintero Frierson of Coral Gables, Fla. is a 6-foot-1, 225-pound monster that had 160 tackles in only 10 games. He plays fast and hard, always around the ball.

With offers from Kentucky, Auburn and Central Florida, Frierson decided that New Jersey is where he wanted to be.
"I love it up there. The school and the coaches are great and I want to help then build that program. I think with Florida and New Jersey players together, only good things can happen on the field."
Quintero uses his 4.5-second 40-yard dash to chase down running backs and has a knack for getting to the quarterback.
"I'm just looking for an opportunity to play and win. I think Rutgers gives me that in the near future."
