Rutgers is high on Severins list
Rutgers has become the fifth school to verbally offer Canaan Severin and the Scarlet Knights are very high on the Massachusetts athlete's list.
At 6-foot-3 and 215-pounds, Severin has the potential to play multiple positions in college and he's one of the top athletes in the Northeast in this recruiting cycle.

"I don't really have any favorites but I got an offer (Friday night) from Rutgers so they're in the mix right now," Severin said over the weekend.
"I really like them. I went up to Rutgers for the 7-on-7 tournament and I liked it a lot. I've gotten to meet with the coaches and all that. I liked the unofficial visit."
Severin plans on visiting Boston College on March 24. Three days later he will be at Penn State.
"Right now I also want to get down to NC State and Virginia," he added.
"I definitely want to try to drive to UConn and talk to the coaches over spring break."
