Rutgers in a good spot with this in-state target

Defensive back Donovan Bunch has a number of schools he is considering and he is still doing his research but the Acto (N.J.) Winslow Township star identified one school that is piquing his interest.

IN HIS OWN WORDS…

“North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Temple, Syracuse, and Boston College are the schools I talk to a lot," Bunch said. "I want to visit Clemson at some point. I'll take my official visits during the season.

“Cory Robinson from Rutgers shows a lot of interest in me," he said. "We're really close and talk a lot through text and on the phone. We talk about my game and what I can do to improve. I went up to a practice two weeks ago. They have extraordinary energy there. Hopefully I'll be back there in the next two weeks."

Bunch’s best football is ahead of him but he has a lot of talent that clearly make him an attractive option for college coaches. Rutgers is in a great spot for Bunch but there is a long time left before he takes the next step in his recruitment. Keep an eye on Boston College, Pittsburgh, and North Carolina.
