Rutgers adds Florida OL

Rutgers is putting together a solid class this season, and Tuesday night reached down into the Sunshine State to shore up their class along the offensive line. Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas offensive guard Corey Hyman called Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano and informed him of his decision.
“It was just the atmosphere, the players, and the coaches,” Hyman commented. “I really made up my mind the day after my official visit (Dec. 12), but my coach told me to look around.

“I really liked how the city and the school have really made a commitment to the football program.” Corey said that in the end he chose Rutgers over the Panthers of Pitt.
Hyman projects as an offensive guard, and at 6-foot-4 and 291 pounds, he runs the 40-yard dash in 5.25 seconds.
