JaMarcus Russell says he'll focus
his attention on three teams down the recruiting stretch.
"It's LSU, Florida and Florida State," said the
Rivals100 team member and No. 6
pro-style quarterback in the nation. "It'll be one of those three. I won't be
taking any more visits."
Russell (6-5, 220, 4.7) will visit LSU on Jan. 31. He
said the dates are still up in the air for Florida and Florida State.
"They're all even right now," he said. "I'm trying to
look real close at their quarterback situations and find out where I have the
best opportunity to play the earliest."
Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee and Notre Dame had also been
vying for official visits fore Russell before he trimmed his list down to three.
As a senior, he passed for more than 3,300 yards and 22
touchdowns.
