Russell down to two, maybe three

Donald Russell is a three-star running back prospect from Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Dwyer High School. Russeel, 5-11 and 205 pounds, has taken two official visits over the last two weekends. He just got back from a trip to Lexington to see the Wildcats.
"Kentucky was good," Russell said. "They have fantastic facilities and a great indoor facility. The ducation is real good and I love their program called Cats. It's a study hall for student athletes. I think I fit in well with Kentucky and their offense as well."

The previous weekend Russell visited Southern Miss. Like Kentucky he was impressed by USM.
"Actually, it was a great visit. I really like coach (Larry) Fedora. He is just a real nice guy and I really like the offense they run. It's a quick tempo offense where they run the spread, out of the "I" and one back.
"Now I just want to compare the two."
So is Russell down to Southern Miss and Kentucky?
"Well, I may go visit Tennessee this weekend. I am supposed to call them tomorrow. I was talking with coach (Stan) Drayton but they fired him. I am going to call them and see what happens.
"If I don't visit Tennessee then I may make my decision. Education is the most important thing to me. The environment and coaching staffs are important too. Of course, I think football will just fall into place where ever I choose."
