Rush adds No. 1

Killeen, Texas offensive guard Jonathan Rush has his first scholarship offer in and fittingly for a Lone Star prospect, it came from the Big 12.
Rush, the 6-foot-4, 268-pound lineman, added his first official offer from Oklahoma State. It appears that right now, the Cowboys hold an early lead.

"I went up there last Friday for a visit and I got an offer," Rush said. "It went great. Their facilities are nice than I expected. They're real nice. If anybody is in the lead, it would be Oklahoma State."
The Cowboys coaching staff and players was what really pushed OSU up on Rush's list.
"Everybody was just so nice and it seemed like they take care of their athletes there really well," Rush said. "Plus, there school has a good academic program. The coaches are really nice."
Rush says there is no set decision timeframe. Making it a family priority is important.
"It's more about me talking with my family and seeing what they like," he said. "I don't want to make it hard for the when I leave for college."
Rush has no other visits going on at this time other than the NIKE Football Training Camp in a couple weeks at Texas A&M.
SMU and Colorado State are also showing heavy interest at this time.
