Running back Lewis ready for test

Running back Josh Lewis is one of the better prospects in the state without his first scholarship offer, but several schools could be getting close on the speedster.
Lewis, a 5-foot-8, 185-pounder who has rushed for over 1,000 yards during both his sophomore and junior seasons, is looking forward to getting his first offers in hand. Several schools are showing enough interest to make a move and be the first.

"I've seen Texas, TCU, Colorado, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech out at practice," Lewis said. "I know that I've got to take my SAT first and get my grades up before something starts happening."
With his big test coming up, Lewis has been getting countless amounts of mail from LSU, UTEP, and Texas Tech more so than others.
"LSU and Tennessee are two schools I like," Lewis said. "Miami sends me mail too, and I like them as well. I'm going to take some visits this fall before I make any sort of a decision."
As for camps, Lewis says he's going to try and make it to both LSU and Texas.
