Running back center of news

One Arizona newspaper printed that he had committed to Arizona State. The next day, they printed a retraction.
“It was completely false,” Tempe (Ariz.) McClintock running back Randy Hill said of the report of his commitment to ASU. “I don’t know where they got it. They wrote that I wasn’t committed in today’s paper, so it’s cool.”

Hill is having a cool year on the field, too. He has rushed for more than 1,200 yards and 21 touchdowns in seven games this season.
His interest in Arizona State isn’t totally untrue. The Sun Devils will get an official visit from Hill on Dec. 14. Oregon looks like it will be on Nov. 30 if McClintock is out of the playoff picture by then.
Washington, Colorado State and Washington State are among those that have also offered scholarships and who could receive official visits.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound four-star running back says he has no leader among his choices.
