Rumph waiting on score
The wait continues for two-star defensive end Lawrence Rumph of Keller (Tex.) Fossil Ridge high school. The 6-foot-2, 256-pound Rumph was supposed to be in Lubbock this weekend visiting Texas Tech, but Rumph didn't end up going.
"I didn't go on the visit," Rumph said. "Coach Carlos Mainord called me and we rescheduled it. I'm scheduled for a visit with Navarro for the 17th. Then I'm going to Texas Tech after that. I'm still waiting to get my ACT score back and if it's high enough then Tech will offer and I'm going to commit there."

However, should Texas Tech not offer, Rumph says he will not attend any other D-I school.
"If Tech doesn't offer then I'm going to go to Navarro junior college and then I'll take things from there," Rumph said.
The wait should be over soon as Rumph should receive word on his score any day now.
"They say it takes about four to seven weeks, but it's been at least five or six weeks and I haven't gotten my score back yet."
If Rumph can get a high enough score then the Red Raiders should score a commitment.
