Rumor about four-star RB uncovered

There was a rumor that was circulating that the red hot USC Trojans received a pledge from four-star all-purpose JUCO running back Alvin Marshall (5-10, 185, 4.4) from Compton Junior College.
Marshall denied this was so, but he did say he was pretty sure of where he is going.

“I pretty sure where I’m going,” Marshall said. “But I’m not going to make it public until late December or early January.”
“I was considering committing to USC and also Oregon but I decided against it,” Marshall said. “I wanted to keep my options open.”
As of right now Marshall has two visits set. He will visit UNLV on December 13th and Fresno State on December 20th. Many have thought that Fresno State may be holding the trump card for his services because his brother Richard Marshall plays there.
“I am looking at Fresno State real hard,” Marshall said.
Marshall has offers from Fresno State, UNLV, USC, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Kansas and Nebraska.
Marshall signed a letter-of-intent with Nebraska out of high school. Marshall was a standout at Los Angeles (Calif.) Locke two years ago.
What makes Marshall such a valuable commodity is his versatility. He has lined up at every skill position including quarterback for Compton JC.
Marshall has 2,200 all-purpose yards as a sophomore. He has rushed for over 1,000 yards as a running back and has over 1,000 more yards catching, returning and passing the football.
Another thing that has the D-I schools drooling is he has an excellent chance of graduating in December, meaning he will be able to participate in spring ball.
Marshall has 3x2 eligibility.
