Rudinski wowed by Pac-12 trip

Eddie Rudinski was shocked at how much he loved his recent visit to Washington State and the Cougars have moved way up his list.
"It was awesome," Rudinski said. "It was not what I was expecting at all. I heard a lot of negative rumors toward the campus and how it's in the middle of nowhere but the small-town feel is not something I'm against so it was really cool.

"They have a crazy fan base. The stadium is super loud. Miles before you even get to the campus there are people waving Wazzu flags on the side of the road on game day. I had a meeting with coach (Ken) Wilson and coach (Mike) Leach and they discussed where they saw me fitting in and how they wanted me in their program.
"They're definitely in my top five right now for sure."
The Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian standout is unsure of other official visits but one could be coming to the SEC if an offer comes through in the coming weeks.
"I'm not sure where I'm going to go yet," Rudinski said. "Vanderbilt hasn't offered yet so they're only going to have me out on an official if they offer. I just sent them my midseason highlight film so we'll see about that."
Rudinski, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound three-star linebacker, is thinking about a trip to Colorado but that probably would not happen until December. As for other trips, the Oaks Christian standout said he's still unsure of where he will go.
Washington had been considered the frontrunner for Rudinski but he's been told by that coaching staff that the Huskies are filled up at his position.
Because of that news, the three-star linebacker does not plan to take a trip to Washington and that means Washington State and others have moved way up his list.
"They have their commits already so I'm not going to take a visit up there," Rudinski said.
