Royston comtemplates three offers

St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham defensive back Kim Royston, one of the top five prospects in the state of Minnesota, had a fine junior season at both cornerback and wide receiver.
The 5-foot-11, 180 pound Royston made 53 tackles and caught 23 passes during his junior campaign. Royston averaged 20 yards per reception and scored five times.

Royston is one of a couple major college prospects at his school.
"I have three offers," Royston said. "Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa State.
"I'm pretty wide open. It's so early in the recruiting process.
"Illinois, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Ball State, Marshall, all of them are recruiting me.
"I visited Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Nebraska. For sure I'm going to Iowa's camp. And for sure Michigan's. I'm going to try to go to Ohio State's camp too."
Asked if he was anywhere near making a decision, Royston said, "I think I'll probably wait and take official visits."
