Chantilly (Va.) Westfield wideout Eddie Royal took his first official visit this past weekend to check out the Virginia Cavaliers. How did things go?
"I had a very good time," said the 5-foot-11, 175-pounder. "It felt like home there, I got along well with the players and coaches. I spent a lot of time with coach Groh and they stressed how important I was to them. They want me to replace Marques Hagans as a go-to guy and punt returner."
Royal was hosted by Hagans and hung out with many other players.

"I didn't commit, but a few guys there on visits did," he said. "I still want to see Virginia Tech (Jan. 23) and Marshall (Jan. 30) before I do anything."
