Royal down to four
One of the state of Virginia's top recruits has narrowed his list down to four schools, and the Cavs have captured his attention. Do the in-state schools lead for Royal?
"They have a little bit of an advantage because of their location," said Royal. "I like the coaches at both schools, and there are individuals that have really had a positive impact on me. Coach Al Golden at UVA has recruited me really hard and I like him a whole lot. That's just an example of a coach who has really helped his school out."

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound wide receiver from Chantilly (Va.) Westfield runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds and is a 4-star prospect, according to Rivals.com.
Royal still has visits to the in-state schools, Virginia (Jan. 16) and Virginia Tech (Jan. 23) coming up soon. He may also visit Marshall on Jan. 30.
"After those visits I should be ready to make a decision," he said. "I'm trying to keep everything as open as possible, but it's tough with everyone recruiting you so hard at this time of the year."
