Roy has early leaders

Spring (Texas) 2016 defensive tackle Bravvion Roy has been a popular guy this spring as college football coaches made their rounds to high schools across the country.
The 6-foot-1, 285-pound defensive standout grabbed offers from Baylor, Missouri, Louisville, Syracuse, Illinois, an Texas in a short span of time, and more college coaches are in hot pursuit.

"My first offer was really Baylor my freshman year," Roy said. "Then it was Missouri, Louisville, Syracuse, Texas, and I'm talking to OSU and more colleges right now."
With spring turning into summer, Roy has some big plans as he hits the camp circuit over the next few months.
"Alabama contacted me and they came to the school and they want me to come down there," Roy said. "I know TCU, I'm going there June 13. I'm going to A&M June 8. So I have a busy summer."
He also has a few schools standing out.
"A&M for sure," Roy said. "I really like Louisville. I don't know why I just do. I think it's an underrated school. Another school that kind of has my attention is the University of Kentucky."
A couple of those schools are among his early favorites.
"Texas A&M is really my favorite right now and Louisville," Roy said.
The Aggies have yet to offer, but he has been keeping in constant contact with the Texas A&M staff, and there are several reasons the Aggies are at the top of his early list.
"It's everything. When I went up there the program is beautiful," Roy said. "Just A&M's facilities, it's great."
All of that said, Roy is currently taking his time with the recruiting process.
"I try not to think about it too much right now," Roy said. "I'm still a sophomore and I don't want it to be stressing me out or anything. I'll deal with that when that time comes."
However, he does know what he is looking for in a future college program.
"I'm looking for enthusiasm and a team that wants to win because I'm trying to win and make us the best we can be as a team," Roy said.
