Roxas enjoys USC Junior Day

One of the top fullback prospects out West this year, Orange Lutheran's (Calif.) Pat Roxas attended USC's Junior Day this past weekend and said the Trojans sit at the top if his list right now.
"We had a chance to see the teams second practice in pads and it was very impressive," Ramon Roxas, Pat's father said. "There were probably about 150 people there overall including parents and Coaches Carroll, Orgeron and Carlisle did most of the talking.

"They went over the recruiting process and gave everyone a campus tour. They also invited pat to their skills camp on Sunday April 25. They have their lineman camp on the 24th. Hopefully he won't be sore from the Nike Camp the day before (April 24)."
Roxas, 6-0, 240 pounds is a load to bring down and is nicknamed "The Bus" at Lutheran. He earned all-league, all-county and third team all-state Underclass honors a year ago after rushing for 356 yards and seven touchdowns on 58 carries. He's a tremendous blocker as well and is a solid high major Div I prospect in our eyes.
"USC is my top school," Roxas said. "I've always followed them but I'm hearing the most from UCLA, Colorado and Michigan. After USC, my top five would be UCLA, Hawaii, Oregon and Cal. The Nike Camp and USC skills camp are the only two camps I have planned for right now."
Academically, Roxas is carrying a 3.0 GPA and will take the SAT later in the year.
