Matthew Rowe took his official visit to Arizona State this past weekend with the four other Long Beach (Calif.) Poly teammates who are committed to the Sun Devils and like all of them Rowe loved it.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound three-star outside linebacker had such a great time at Arizona State that it's unlikely he'll visit Texas A&M this weekend which means he's probably finished with recruiting.
"They taught us about everything," Rowe said. "I loved it. I just feel comfortable there.

"They're caring people. They really care about the players. They were kind of similar but this staff is hungrier. The old staff wanted to win but it seems this staff is hungrier to win more than the old staff."
Rowe took his trip to Arizona State with Poly wide receivers Richard Smith and Josiah Blandin, linebacker Salamo Fiso and cornerback Randall Goforth. All five are committed to the Sun Devils.
Blandin, a three-star receiver, said Tuesday that he believes all the Poly teammates are set on the Sun Devils except Goforth, who is still considering UCLA and Washington.
Rowe had planned to visit Texas A&M this weekend and said Sunday it was 50/50 whether he'd take that trip but it seems unlikely he'll take that trip.
The three-star finished with 83 tackles and three sacks in his senior season and helped lead Long Beach Poly to a 10-2 record.
It sure sounds like he's set for the Sun Devils.
"We loved it," Rowe said. "I'm kind of sold on ASU."
