"Things went good out there today," Rowe said. "It was my first time ever playing linebacker, so I did all right."
The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder also spoke about recruiting.
"I've taken visits to Cal, Arizona, Ole Miss and Fresno State," he said. "And I am going to Oregon on Jan. 12."
Rowe added that there were no favorites among the schools he is considering.
"There are no leaders," he said. "I will probably make my decision around Signing Day."
Rowe said that there are several aspects of a program he will be examining closely before he makes a final decision.
"I am looking at academics, the team's roster and stuff like that," he said. "I want to major in business."
Rowe currently is ranked as the nation's seventh-ranked weakside defensive end prospect.
