Roussel closing in on more offers

Baton Rouge (La.) Redemptorist linebacker Bradly Roussel is working hard in the off-season with his teammates in preparation for his final year of high school football.
The 5-foot-11, 215-pounder ushered in an early scholarship offer from Tennessee and is receiving mail from several other schools who may be next. Florida and UCLA are a couple of the schools that Roussel mentioned as showing a lot of interest.

"That's just a few of them, but those two have been showing me interest," Roussel said. "It's just a lot of mail right now and still that one offer."
Roussel's early offer from Tennessee certainly is big for him, but he's not naming any favorites. Currently he's focused on the season and looking at upcoming visits.
"I think I'm going to visit Florida," Roussel said. "I think I may do that at the beginning of June. It's just a real good program. Why wouldn't you want to check out Florida?"
Roussel says he's unsure when he'll make his decision and most of that will depend on what takes place with scholarship offers.
He says that with that one offer in hand, Tennessee continues to recruit hard.
"I'd say Tennessee is (recruiting me the hardest) since they've offered me," Roussel said. "Plus, I've visited them when I went there last year for the LSU game."
Roussel is a member of the Rivals250 to watch for the class of 2008.
