Rouson adds two new offers

Jaslee Rouson out of Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School added two new offers after visits in early August to a handful of ACC schools. Who did the 5-foot-10, 210-pounder with 4.5-second speed pick up the offers from?
"I got offers from Wake Forest and North Carolina," he said. "I think the Carolina offer is amazing, but I feel a lot of the schools are the same right now. I did really enjoy my visits to Virginia and North Carolina though. Virginia has a lot of history and Al Groh is there. They liked my tape and the fact that my whole family came on the visit. Chapel Hill was great too.

"I still do like Rutgers a lot too because it's my home state. I honestly have no idea where I want to go as a lot of schools stand out. I'm not excluding anyone."
Does Rouson know anyone he'd like to take official visits to?
"I would like to decide on those soon, but I have no idea," he said. "I think that's something my coaches and I will have to talk about. I may take all five visits."
Previously Miami had been on top of Rouson's list of favorites. Where do they stand now?
"I was big on Miami early, although I want to go somewhere the coaching staff seems interested in me," he said. "They don't seem too interested anymore. I really liked how coach Bunting at UNC told me how they'd use me, he told me the straight up truth. I'm not getting a lot of love like that from Miami now, that could change though and I still do love and respect their program."
This summer the two-star prospect has lost some weight and improved his game.
"I've lost a lot of weight and am down to about 210-pounds," he said. "I'm faster and I can tell I'll be a different player this year. I'm quicker on the field and I don't feel sluggish."
The No. 39 player in New Jersey is hoping to make a decision on his commitment sooner than later.
"Honestly I'd like to decide within a month, but my parents keep telling me to wait for more offers," he said. "I do have ideas where I want to go, but I want to respect my parents and I'd be willing to wait if that's what they want."
Rouson won the running back award at the Elite College Combine last year.
