Rouse considers his offers

Joliet (Ill.) Catholic linebacker Kevin Rouse has a dozen scholarship offers on the table including offers from multiple Big Ten schools. And while Rouse mentions a couple colleges that have yet to offer, it is the 12 that have offered that currently have most of his attention.
"Right now I'm mostly looking at the schools that have offered," Rouse said. "I have 12 offers now. Ole Miss, Minnesota, Missouri, Colorado State, Northwestern, Iowa State, North Carolina State, Iowa, Kansas, Indiana, Pitt and Purdue have offered."

Rouse has visited many of the schools that have offered and a couple that haven't.
"I went to Missouri, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Iowa, Iowa State, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin," Rouse said. "I'm interested in schools like Wisconsin and Ohio State, but I have to keep the ones that offered first in line."
Rouse plans to take some additional visits before he selects a college.
"In July I'll try and get to some schools, but I'm not sure who," he said. "I'd like to decide (on a college) before the season. I don't have a favorite yet."
The 6-foot-1 and 216-pound Rouse made 90 tackles including nine sacks during his junior season. He also intercepted a pass. Rouse was an all-conference and all-area selection.
