Roundtable: Biggest final weekends

Each day leading up to National Signing Day, Rivals.com's analysts will convene at the Recruiting Roundtable and debate a current recruiting topic.

Today's question: Which program could benefit the most from its last round of official visitors this weekend?

Mike Farrell, National/Mid-Atlantic: I think it's clearly Auburn. Who else has three different five-stars visiting with a great chance to have one re-commitment (Reuben Foster), another stay committed (Carl Lawson) and to get into the top list for a third (Montravius Adams). They also have Ole Miss commitment Elijah Daniel on hand and four-star JUCO defensive tackle Toby Johnson coming. Who knows who else might make the trip as well as Auburn is as hot as any program in the country when it comes to getting in on kids late this cycle.

Adam Friedman, Mid-Atlantic: Tennessee has a shot to make a serious splash this weekend. Tyler Boyd, a Pittsburgh commit, and E.J. Levenberry Jr., a Florida State commit, are both taking officials to Knoxville this weekend and both seem to pretty vulnerable. The Levenberry camp is not happy with the coaching changes in Tallahassee, and it is well-known that he loves the atmosphere in Tennessee. Boyd has become very confused after an official visit to West Virginia last weekend. That uneasiness can be seen as good news for the Vols. It is very possible Boyd and Levenberry could flip if coach Butch Jones and company make a good impression.

Kynon Codrington, Southeast: Auburn has the chance to benefit the most from this weekend's schedule of visitors. Reuben Foster, Carl Lawson and Elijah Daniel will be on The Plains. Lawson is committed and this will be the staff's best chance to get him to reaffirm his pledge before he makes his decision on Monday. Foster will decide on Monday as well and the Tigers have a good chance to land him yet again. Daniel is committed to Ole Miss and his decision to visit could give him something to think about. In addition to those three, Cornelius Elder stopped by campus for a mid-week official visit. It's shaping up to be a great weekend for the Tigers with an even bigger day on Monday both five-stars, Foster and Lawson announce.

Woody Wommack, Southeast: For me it has to be Auburn. It's been a real roller coaster cycle for the Tigers, first building one of the more impressive classes in the country, then seeing guys like Reuben Foster and Dee Liner jump ship. But after a rough stretch following a coaching change, the Tigers have some momentum and a huge final weekend coming up. Carl Lawson, the No. 4 player in the country, will be on campus and is expected to make a final decision shortly after his trip. Joining Lawson on campus will be Montravius Adams, Reuben Foster and Elijah Daniel. If the Tigers can close on even two of the four players on campus, it will be very successful weekend.

Josh Helmholdt, Midwest: Anytime you get a kid on campus, you've got a shot. It is the football equivalent of "a chip and a chair" in poker. In Auburn's case, they have more than a single chip to play with the trio of five-star visitors coming in this weekend: linebacker Reuben Foster, defensive end Carl Lawson and defensive tackle Montravius Adams. Add to that group Rivals250 defensive end Elijah Daniel, and the Tigers could make a huge splash on signing day by having a good official visit weekend the next few days.

Jason Howell, Southwest: From a numbers stand point Texas Tech is the front runner here. The Raiders are hosting at least five visitors, and coach Kliff Kingsbury and his staff are coming off a strong Jan. 25 weekend. If they can repeat their efforts before Signing Day that would be big. Then there is Texas, which is hosting Rivals100 running back Dontre Wilson. The Longhorns pulled off a big win just getting him to visit, and if they could somehow get him to sign it would be an upset on the level of the Longhorns landing Torshiro Davis on signing day last year. Mack Brown has been known to pull off a big win or two on the recruiting front so you cannot count him out.

Rob Cassidy, West: In the west, it's probably Washington. The Huskies' class is going to be strong regardless, but this is a big weekend. It all starts with Tyrell Robinson and Tyree Robinson, four-star brothers who are committed to Oregon. The twins have always had an interest in Washington, and now that Chip Kelly is gone, they are seriously looking around. They aren't a lock to flip, but the chance is certainly strong. Also visiting this weekend is linebacker Keishawn Bierria, for whom Oregon State is thought to be the leader, but the Huskies are lying in the weeds and have the all-important final visit.

Adam Gorney, West: Washington has a big opportunity this weekend. Oregon commits Tyree and Tyrell Robinson are heading up to Seattle and the Huskies are going to do everything possible to get them to flip their commitments. This will be a football/basketball mix weekend for them and with the coaching change at Oregon, Washington sees a chance to get involved with them. Also, Keishawn Bierria is visiting and the Huskies could offer. This could be a big weekend for the Huskies, who already have a nice recruiting class going.
