Ross waiting patiently

Ocala (Fla.) Forest running back Roosevelt Ross put up absolutely ridiculous numbers a senior, he has some very impressive film, but for some reason the interest just isn't coming in. These are the type players that end up at a small school and make the larger schools regret not offering them a scholarship.
"Florida International is the only offer I have right now," Ross said. "Eastern Michigan has come by the school to see me and they are supposed to be calling me tonight. I really think they are going to offer and if they did I would probably commit to them. I really think that I will end up there."

The 5-foot-10, 196-pound Ross showed out at the Miami NIKE camp when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds, the shuttle in 4.28 seconds, had a 31-inch vertical jump and did 15 reps on the bench press.
"I visited Florida International and I just wasn't impressed at all by them really," Ross said. "I have thought about going to a junior college if Eastern Michigan doesn't offer. I could go out there, prove myself and show that I could play against the big boys and in two years a bigger school would probably pick me up."
