Ross on the road again

Kevin Ross (6-0, 185, 4.5) from Culver City (Calif.) St. Bernard’s is a versatile athlete who has played running back/wide receiver and free safety as a senior. More than likely, Ross will end up playing wide receiver or safety on the next level.
Ross was selected all-area and all-CIF as senior even though he missed three games because of a sprained ankle.

Ross didn’t let his injury keep him down. He rushed for 477 yards on 41 carries and three touchdowns as a running back. Ross caught 26 passes for 420 yards and three more touchdowns through the air.
On the defensive side of the ball Ross plays an excellent and rangy centerfield. He accounted for 66 tackles and five picks. Ross had six picks as a junior and has 14 interceptions for his career.
So far Boise State, Colorado State and Northwestern have had in house visits. He has already taken one trip to Cal back on December 20th. This weekend Ross will pack his bags and head to Utah State for a visit on January 17th.
Utah State likes Ross as a wide receiver and if the Aggies offer a commitment could be made.
Northwestern has offered and Washington is beginning to show interest in Ross.
Ross is a team first type of the player who doesn’t care what side of the ball he plays on the nest level.
