Ross down to three

He won't make his decision until the Army All-American January 7 but Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) defensive back Devin Ross has narrowed down his list to three and could be setting up an official visit to one of the schools in the next week or so.
Ross, 5-11, 185 pounds is one of the nation's finest defensive backs and currently a member of the Rivals 100. The athlete has been attempting to narrow his list of schools down to a workable three for some time and has finally been able to do it.

"My final three are Cal, Arizona and Oregon," Ross said. "I had UCLA in there too but I just stopped hearing from them so I don't know what the deal is. They said they needed my grades to improve, I did what they asked for and they said they would offer after seeing my first quarter grades. They asked for my transcripts a few weeks ago and I haven't heard from them since.
"I'm not worrying about it though. There was a time when I really wanted to go but if they don't want me, that's fine, I have three other really good schools I like a lot and I'm happy with those three."
Ross has already visited Oregon, and took an unofficial visit to Arizona last weekend.
"It was real cool to be up there again," Ross said. "I thought about making it an official visit because Shareece (Wright) was up there but I just wanted to come up for a day and hang out a little bit. I took a visit to Arizona back in the summer so I know the campus and the area pretty well already. I don't know if I need to take an official visit there. I could but right now, I might just visit Cal and that will be it as far as visits.
"I haven't set a date with Cal yet but I know Allen (Bradford) is going to visit there on (Dec. 9) so that's the weekend I'll probably visit too. Right now, I don't have a leader among those three. All three are great schools and I think I would fit in well at all of them. I have a couple of months before the Army game and my decision so I'm just going to research those three and then pick the school that I feel is the best fit for me."
