Blacklock headed to TCU

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. -- Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Elkins defensive tackle Ross Blacklock announced a top four of Texas A&M, TCU, Alabama and Houston, but Saturday in front of a national television audience Blacklock announced his commitment to the Horned Frogs.

Blacklock put on a TCU cap during the second quarter of Saturday's game.

Blacklock’s commitment gives TCU its first defensive tackle in the class and he is the fifth defensive linemen to choose the Horned Frogs. He joins Gary Overshown and Isaiah Chamber as defensive line commits from the state of Texas.

He is ranked a 5.7, three-star prospect and No. 31 among the nation’s top defensive tackles. He is currently ranked No. 51 in the Texas Postseason Top 100 for 2016.
