Ross back from official visit

The trip this past weekend to Oregon State was excellent.
Harris Ross got a chance to really tour the campus, meet with the coaching staff, see a game and get a feel for what it's like to be a student in Corvallis.

The three-star running back from Pittsburg, Calif., loved every minute of it and Ross said he's so happy he flipped his commitment from Hawaii to Oregon State last month. It was a big decision and one Ross was happy he made.
"It's great," Ross said. "The atmosphere and everything is great. I'm enjoying it."
Even before his official visit, Ross said he knew Oregon State was the right place for him. The coaches had been outstanding during the recruiting process and getting an opportunity to play in the Pac-12 was too much to pass up.
The Pittsburg running back is having a tremendous season and is putting up huge numbers. With recruiting behind him now, Ross said he's thrilled to have found his next home. He's confident the right choice was made.
"I'm really happy that I committed here because it's a great program," Ross said. "I feel like I can come up here and focus on my academics and everything. I love it up here."
The official visit is finished but Ross still has some work to do on the field.
Last weekend, Ross and his Pittsburg team defeated five-star Joe Mixon and Oakley Freedom to advance to the next round of state playoffs.
